Why ‘Tjina’?

The Meaning Behind Our Name

Tjina (pronounced Gee-nah) is the Kaurna word for footprints.
Footprints represent more than simply where we have been. They tell the story of those who walked before us, the paths we choose today, and the legacy we leave for future generations.
This meaning sits at the heart of everything Tjina does. Every mentoring session, workshop, cultural conversation and community partnership is another footprint—one built on respect, learning and genuine connection.

Walking with the stories of the past, creating footprints for the future.
